Construction time tracking for crews on changing sites

Construction crews start early, move between sites and rarely have a free hand for a phone. TimeTracking makes logging hours fit that reality, so the office gets accurate hours per site without chasing paper.

Animated demo: crews clock in on three building sites, offline hours sync later and the office sees hours per site. Crews clock in, No signal, no problem, Hours per site, Week approved.

How construction teams use TimeTracking

  1. Set up your sites

Add each building site and link it to a project. Crew members start the timer in the app or clock in at a kiosk on site.

  2. Track per site and project

Hours, breaks, travel time and mileage are recorded against the site and project, from the phone or a kiosk at the gate.

  3. Approve and export

Foremen or the office approve the week. Approved hours go to payroll and to your project costing.

Made for the building site

The mobile timer has large buttons and keeps running when the app is closed or the phone restarts. Hours entered without signal are queued and sent when the phone is back online, and an email reminder catches days that are still missing. A lock screen timer and geofence nudges per site are coming soon.

Where crews don't carry phones, or subcontractors come and go, a tablet kiosk at the site entrance lets everyone clock in with a personal 6-digit PIN. The tablet can be limited to one site, so every clock-in lands on the right project.

  • Timer that survives restarts, offline queue
  • Coming soon: lock screen timer and geofence nudges
  • Kiosk at the gate, limited to the site
  • Travel time and mileage per trip

Hours per site, not just per person

Every entry carries the site and project, so you can see labour hours per site without asking foremen to fill in separate reports. Rosters show who is planned where, and planned versus worked hours reveal sites that run over.

Travel time between sites and mileage are recorded as separate types, so they can be paid according to your agreements and excluded from or included in site costs.

Breaks, rest time and payroll

Long days are common in construction. TimeTracking records breaks explicitly and warns planners about shifts that conflict with rest-time rules. Approved hours, overtime and allowances are exported to payroll: SD Worx-format and configurable CSV/XLSX today, with more payroll connectors coming soon.

Privacy your crew can accept

TimeTracking does not track location continuously and takes no screenshots. Planned geofencing will only act around the sites you configure. That makes the app easier to introduce to crews and works councils.

Frequently asked questions

Can crews clock in without a smartphone?

Yes. A tablet kiosk at the site entrance lets workers clock in and out with a personal 6-digit PIN.

Does the app work without mobile coverage?

The mobile app keeps the timer running offline and queues hours until a connection is available. The kiosk needs an internet connection, so place it where Wi-Fi or mobile data is stable.

Can I see hours per building site?

Yes. Every entry is linked to a site and project, and reports show hours per site, person and period.

What does it cost for a construction company?

Free for up to 5 users, then €1 per user per month on Core, which includes rosters, mileage, approvals and payroll exports.
