Time tracking for agencies and consultancies

Consultants and agency teams know their days live in the calendar, yet timesheets still get filled in on Friday from memory. TimeTracking proposes hours from last week and the usual pattern, with calendar sync coming soon, and lets clients approve them without a login.

Animated demo: a consultant's week fills with proposed entries from last week's pattern, is confirmed in one tap and approved by the client. Proposed from last week, Confirm the week, Hours per project, Client signs off.

How agencies use TimeTracking

  1. Get proposed hours

Last week's entries and recurring work become proposals for time entries, matched to clients and projects. Google Calendar and Outlook sync is coming soon.

  2. Confirm the day

Each consultant confirms or adjusts the proposed entries in one tap, on the phone or the web.

  3. Client approval and export

Clients approve the hours through a magic link. Approved hours are exported to your invoicing tool.

Time tracking without the Friday scramble

Predictive time tracking turns last week's entries and recurring work into proposed time entries. Consultants check and confirm instead of reconstructing the week. A timer and manual entry are always available for work that doesn't follow the pattern.

Calendar connections for Google Calendar and Outlook are on the roadmap and marked as coming soon. Until then, predictions use recent entries and rosters.

  • Proposed entries from history (calendar sync coming soon)
  • Timer and manual entry
  • Hours per client and project
  • Client approval by magic link

Client sign-off that builds trust

For retainer and time-and-materials work, a client who has approved the hours before the invoice arrives is a client who pays without questions. TimeTracking sends approvers a secure link with the hours for the period. Their approval is recorded with name and timestamp.

Focused on hours, open to your tools

TimeTracking doesn't create invoices or manage projects. It produces approved hours and exports them as configurable CSV or XLSX, or through the API, to the invoicing and project tools you already use. That keeps your stack simple and your data open.

At €1 per user per month, with a free plan for up to 5 users, it costs a fraction of tools that bundle invoicing you might not need.

Reports for project leads

Project leads need to know how many hours went into a client or project this month, and how that compares with the budget or retainer. Reports in TimeTracking show approved hours per client, project and person for any period, and can be shared or exported for the monthly client update.

Because hours are approved before they reach the report, the numbers project leads discuss with clients are the same numbers that end up on the invoice.

  • Hours per client, project and person
  • Any period, shareable or exportable
  • Approved hours, so reports match invoices
