Time tracking for cleaning companies
Cleaning teams work short shifts at many addresses, early in the morning or late at night, often with staff who speak different languages. TimeTracking keeps hours per address accurate without a clocking terminal in every building.
How cleaning companies use TimeTracking
Add every address
Each client location becomes a site and is linked to the client and contract.
Track each visit
Cleaners start the timer in the app or confirm the visit proposed from the roster. Missing hours trigger an email reminder.
Approve per client
Hours per address are approved internally or by the client and exported to payroll.
Many addresses, one clean overview
A cleaner might visit three offices in one evening. Every visit is recorded against the right site and client, with travel time in between recorded separately. Planners see in the roster who is scheduled where, and planned versus worked hours per contract show where budgets run over.
Predictions from the roster and email reminders for missing hours remove most of the gaps that make per-address hours unreliable. Geofence nudges at each address are planned but not available yet.
- Hours per address and client
- Travel time between addresses
- Rosters with recurring cleaning schedules
- Planned versus worked per contract
Proof of service for clients
Clients sometimes ask whether their location was serviced as agreed. Approved hours per address, with the start and end time of every visit, give a factual answer. Where the contract requires it, clients can approve hours through a magic link without logging in.
Simple for every cleaner
The app is available in 20 languages and each cleaner chooses their own. Large buttons, a timer that keeps running offline and predictions from the roster keep tracking quick. Login works with a one-time code by SMS for staff without a work email.
Payroll exports are available as SD Worx-format and configurable CSV/XLSX files today.
Recurring schedules per contract
Most cleaning work repeats: the same office every weekday evening, a school three times a week, a deep clean once a month. Recurring shift patterns in the roster capture those contracts once, and the planner only deals with exceptions such as sickness, holidays or an extra job.
When a cleaner is sick, the planner sees which addresses are affected and can offer the shifts as open shifts to colleagues. The client's hours stay correct, because every visit is still recorded against the right address.
- Recurring patterns per contract
- Open shifts when someone is sick
- Exceptions instead of rebuilding the roster
