What Clockify does well

Clockify covers a lot of ground: timers, timesheets, projects, reports, and on higher plans scheduling, GPS, expenses and invoicing. It runs in the browser, on desktop and on mobile.

According to Clockify's pricing page, paid plans are Basic $3.99, Standard $5.49, Pro $7.99 and Enterprise $11.99 per user per month on annual billing. GPS tracking, scheduling and expenses are available from the Pro plan. Since April 2026 the free plan is limited to 5 users.

When Clockify is a good fit

If you need project tracking with many optional modules and are comfortable on the Pro plan, Clockify offers a lot in one place. Teams that already use its invoicing and project features may prefer to stay.

Where TimeTracking is different

TimeTracking focuses on hours for teams that work on site and on the road, and on getting those hours into payroll without retyping.

  • Rosters, a PIN kiosk, mileage and expenses are in Core at €1 per user per month. Geofence nudges are coming soon.
  • Payroll exports: SD Worx-format and configurable CSV/XLSX today, with Loket, Nmbrs, AFAS and DATEV connectors coming soon. Clockify has no payroll integrations.
  • Client approval through a secure magic link, without the client creating an account.
  • A free plan for up to 5 users with core time tracking and exports.
  • Predictive time tracking and an AI timesheet parser on Pro for staffing agencies.
  • Privacy-first: no location tracking, never screenshots.

Switching from Clockify

Export your Clockify time entries as CSV before you switch. Set up your clients, sites and placements in TimeTracking, invite your team to the iOS and Android apps, and run both side by side for one period if you want to compare. Importers for exports from other tools are on our roadmap.
