Zapier integration

A Zapier app will let you connect TimeTracking to other tools without code, for example to send approved hours to a spreadsheet or invoicing tool. It is on our roadmap and marked as coming soon.

Animated demo: a Zapier workflow where an approved period triggers steps that copy hours to a spreadsheet and an invoicing tool; today the same works with webhooks and the REST API. Trigger, Spreadsheet, Invoicing tool, Works today.
Step-by-step setup guide for Zapier

What it will do

Planned triggers include a new time entry, an approved period and an exported period. Planned actions include creating a time entry or a person. Together they cover common workflows like copying approved hours to an invoicing tool or adding new hires from an HR system.

  • Trigger: entry created
  • Trigger: period approved or exported
  • Action: create time entry
  • Action: create person

What works today

Webhooks and the REST API are live, so the same workflows work today as a recipe: catch a TimeTracking webhook in Zapier or Make, then use an HTTP step to call the API. Configurable CSV and XLSX exports are available for file-based workflows.
